F-14 Phantom Navy flyer's helmets and other flight gear
This is a timeline of helmets and gear worn by an F-4 Phantom and F-14 Tomcat Radar Intercept Officer (RIO) who flew combat during the Navy's last assault from the carriers in 1972-73. He did that and all of his 2,400 hours flight time while also being a squadron and wing flight surgeon.
