The Navy's WAVES were not considered part of the "Regular Navy"
until 1948 when a new law allowed women sailors in the regular Navy
and this woman was part of the first six from Southern California to
enlist. It includes her named Good Conduct Medal which I think are
not all that common for women who enlisted in the 1940's. You can see
more about her (and more photos) at
http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/260472-first-women-in-the-regular-navy/
Asking $160 plus shipping for this.

More items from 3 star general
I have a few new items from the retired Lt. General discussed at the US Militaria Forum. He got this parka when he was a Brig. General and the first star was attached by bending over the prongs on the back of the star. Asking $65 OBO plus shipping.
This is a "gaggle patch" from when the General was Commanding Officer of the 35th Tactical Training Wing at George AFB. The Korean-made patch shows the 20th Tactical Fighter Training Sq., 35 Tactical Training Sq., Air Warrior (a continual exercise then hosted at George AFB) and the 21st Tactical Fighter Sq. It has velcro on the back.
Asking $17.50 plus shipping.
