Higher resolution
For some reason the camera was not at its highest resolution setting. Let's see how this photo looks when double clicked.
WWII POW document
In World War II the international YMCA gave prisoners of war hardcover books with blank pages. POW's filled these with writing and drawings, often from fellow POW's. I will be selling one that belong to a POW who was a fighter pilot and a senior POW at Stalag Luft III. His book included a note apparently smuggled to his camp from four airmen held elsewhere after beind tried as spies. The note was originally folded to about one by two inches in size.
Got it working!
I found out that if a Treo phone photo has been rotated you can not email it to the Blogger. That's a minor problem, although it is sometimes handy to take photos "the other way" especially tall narrow scenes and objects. Oh well, that's showbiz.
Now to find some new old militaria to post.

Well this does not work
The photo did not come through because Google's mail system thinks the JPEG photos from my Treo phone are some sort of virus and Google won't accept the email post to the blog. That shoots down my main reason for starting this.
Oh well, time to go explore other companies blog software. And oh, here is the mannequin, uploaded from my MacBook laptop instead of the Treo phone.
Welcome to my blog
I hope to use this to post updates on new militaria finds from the field. If you see something you like, please visit my Ebay store under the name bobhudsoncommunications or my website http://hudsonmilitaria.com
So, let's do a test and see if I can add a picture to this first posting, which is being done from my Palm Treo 750 phone. This is a mannequin that sits in our home, wearing the Korean War uniform of Marine Cpl Bob Shurte.
