WWII fighter pilot parachute

This type of seat cushion parachiute was used mainly by fighter pilots in WWII. This was used during WWII by a San Diego man who was in the Army Air Force. After the war he joined the US Air Force reserve and was killed during a training flight off the coast of San Diego. Asking $950 for this.

This is a bit of flight log, diary and scrapbook. Contains his entries from combat in the Battle of Okinawa.

Musette bag named to KIA bomber crewman

This is named to a bomber crewman killed in action on 9 June 1944. He was an engineer on a B-24 from the 829th Bomb Squadron, 485th Bomb Group.

A Marine who fought on Guadalcanal brought home from the Pacific this interesting combination of a 1943 British machete scabbard and a 19th century Spanish machete/short sword. The Marine wrote his name, rank, serial number and Pacific duty stations on the back of the scabbard. Original WWII Japanese Officers Katana Samurai style sword

This is from WWII and the blade is marked with the information on the smith who made it. I have had that translated. Asking $840 or best offer. There are some small black marks on the blade as shown in the photos.
